Suunto are leading a clean up campaign: tasking teams of experienced climbers with reaching the summit, but with the mission: not just to conquer the worlds tallest mountain, but to clean it up as they go along. Removing any trace of human activity.

 

Suunto are partnering with Nepalese businesses in the foothills of Everest. Hotels and cafes task climbers with bringing down bags of rubbish from their mountain explorations. They are rewarded with a Suunto sustainable explorer badge and discount code!

 

Suunto will also sell each watch with a promise that the wearer will not leave a trace on nature as they venture.
